As a Direct Support Professional will be responsible for implementing the assigned individual(s) personal care plan, working with the individual and their family to improve socialization, self-help, and communication skills.
What You'll Do:
Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide hands on care to individuals with intellectual and other developmental.
Assist with ADLs/IADLs with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
Some lifting and transferring may be required.
Assisting with participation and exploration of the community Cultivating and expanding independent living skills.
Assisting with development of meaningful and personal relationships Implementing strategies to achieve individuals' personal goals Education, Training and
Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience caregiving High School Diploma Valid CPR/First Aid Certification DDA Training MANDT Certification MED Tech License (Preferred) Proof of PPD, if you have a history of positive PPD you must provide a Chest X-Ray Valid driver's license in good standing Pre-employment drug screening Criminal background check to include fingerprinting and central registry clearance Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion pertaining to the work environment and maintain all HIPAA requirements INDBLT Job Types:
